Updated: Aug 23, 2021

Making your own DIY cleaning products is a fantastic way to save some money and it also is good for our environment! You get to control what’s inside of your cleaning product making it a much safer option for you, your children, and your pets!

When making your own cleaning product you will not have all that packaging that would come with a product when you buy it from the internet, so you would be cutting down on unnecessary waste and space. • You can also blend peppermint oil with soap and spray it across the outdoors of your home to preserve them from getting in.

Eucalyptus oil: You can easily clean your hairbrushes and combs with eucalyptus oil. For this you will need to:

  • Combine one and a half cups of water, a half cup of distilled white vinegar

  • Once they have soaked, rinse them off thoroughly and let them air dry. You can also use eucalyptus oil to give your home a fresh pleasant scent.
